ABOUT

Mosun is a multidisciplinary artist whose creativity moves fluidly between visual art and music. Based in Melbourne, he blends visuals, sounds and style in a way that feels effortlessly cohesive, pulling from his world as a film director, photographer, and musician.

As a director his work has received international recognition, including Best Student Fashion Film at the 2025 PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival, and official selections at the New York City International Film Festival, London Fashion Film Festival, and St Kilda Film Festival.

As a producer and musician, Mosun creates music that fuses live instrumentation with sample-based production, drawing from footwork, hip hop, baile and jazz. Active within Melbourne’s vibrant music scene, he also performs as a DJ. He composed the original score for The Dancer, directed by Santilla Chingaipe, as part of VoxDocs, a collaboration between Shark Island Institute, The Sydney Morning Herald, and The Age.

Mosun acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the unceded lands and waters of the Wurundjeri and Boon Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation on which he lives and works. He pays his respects to their Elders, past and present. Sovereignty was never ceded.
